Neighborhood Blessings
At PHP, our mission primarily revolves around food. We provide hot meals or sandwich, groceries, toiletries and basic necessities to those less fortunate. With our Neighborhood Blessings program, on a weekly basis PHP volunteers load our van with easy to open canned vegetables and meat and other easy to open or not necessarily requiring refrigeration or to be heaten before eating, along with toiletries such as soap and toothpaste, and other camping necessities. Additionally, we bring along a container with a hot meal to the many homeless campsites and areas throughout the county. Also as part of our offering to the homeless, they may enjoy a lunch in our facility and a shower twice a week.
