Sunday Blessings

People Helping People's oldest program to help end hunger in Hernando County is known as Sunday Blessings. People Helping People serves a free meal for the needy every week through its Sunday Blessings Program, the original program offered by PHP. Some of our guests are homeless, some are elderly people whose only income is Social Security, and some are working people with large families and modest incomes.  All who are in need are welcome at our Sunday Dinners.  Volunteers deliver groceries each month to needy seniors living in Brooksville and Spring Hill subsidized housing projects.  The program currently serves over 120 seniors and we plan to expand our outreach. For more information about Senior Blessings click here
